Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. It is not a coincidence, that many of the greatest film directors come to visit the Hungarian capital and then decide to shoot a movie here. The bridges over the Danue, the amazing buildings left by the Habsburg era inspired many Hollywood actors as well. Last time, Timothée Chalamet, Will Smith, Henry Cavill and Scarlett Johansson were also part of the Hungarian movie making process. But what comes next? Well, that is the tale fo the future. But not run so far ahead already. Let’s see, which Hollywood movies were filmes in Budapest!

First of all, it was a pleasure for Budapest that Netflix decided to shoot most of the first season of The Withcher in our capital. But just a couple of months before, Scarlett J came because of the Black Widow movie. If you were travelling around Nyugati Square that time, then I am pretty sure you saw those big reflectors that provided light for the cameramans. Yes, that’s true, because underground the Nyugati tram station, some of the most amazing action scenes were filmed of the Black Widow. And don’t forget about the Gemini Man either: the dancing Will Smith is going to stay a legend for Budapest forever.
